Catholic Schools Week Jan 31st-Feb 4th
Catholic Schools Week is a fun-filled week of events that allow us as a whole school to celebrate what it means to be a part of a Catholic School community! Below is the bulletin explaining all of the fun activities we will be participating in. This information will be sent home today in Red Folders. Catholic Schools Week Service Projects Our faith teaches us that it is important to be giving of ourselves and this is something that we want all of our students to learn and understand. As part of Catholic Schools week we are also going to be having our students participate in service projects to understand that even at a young age there are ways that they can give back to their community in various ways. A brief description of these service projects is explained below. We will having a Penny War with all proceeds going to support St. Peter's Helping Hands. Students are encouraged to bring in their change and compete with other classrooms for the highest total. Our 4th & 5th graders will also be visiting the Helping Hands Clothing Center to donate their time and learn more about how this organization helps those in need in our community. We will also be having our K3-3rd grade students make small fleece blankets for the animals at the Lakeland Animal Shelter. If you are able to donate a yard of fleece or supplies for the animal shelter that would be greatly appreciated. A list of supplies needed by the animal shelter is provided below. Animal Shelter Supplies Plastic Bag Recycling Bin A few of our students are participating in a 4-H recycling project and are currently collecting plastic bags. We have a bin located near the school office for you to dispose of any clean plastic bags. These bags are then recycled to a company called NexTrex who uses them to create plastic outdoor benches. What an easy way to help our environment! Candy Grams Our 4th & 5th graders are hosting a Candy Gram Sale for Valentine's Day. Each candy gram is $2 and will have a variety of treats and themed items. Please place your order for Candy Grams by Tuesday Feb. 8th. Parents Night Out Our Parents Night Out event is this Saturday January 29th! I hope that you will consider getting a babysitter and joining us for a fun night out playing games and enjoying the company of other St. Peter's parents at East Troy Brewery. Please RSVP to me or the school office as soon as possible. 22/23 School Enrollment/Registration Beginning on February 1st we are accepting enrollments for the 22/23 school year. We are offering many enrollment incentives throughout February and March and we hope that you will reserve your spot early for next year! I have our incentives listed below as well as our School Choice enrollment information. We will be having an Open House for new/interested families on Sunday, February 20th from 10am-12pm. We are happy to give tours to new families whenever it works for their schedule. Students considering St. Peter's are also welcome to shadow for a day. Our typical registration fee is $250, but if you enroll early for next school year, you can receive a reduced fee. Listed below are the reduced registration rates depending on when you register. 22/23 Enrollment by Feb 15th -$100 Registration fee 22/23 Enrollment by Feb 30th -$150 Registration fee 22/23 Enrollment by April 15th -$200 Registration fee **Current families are also able to receive a $250 reduced tuition rate for the 22/23 school year for referring a new family that enrolls at St. Peter's for next year!** School Choice Enrollment Information St. Peter's School has been participating in the School Choice Program for a few years now with great success. We are excited to share the new income eligibility chart for the 2022-2023 school year. We understand that in the past, many of the families in our community were not able to enroll their students in a private school due to income restraints, but School Choice has helped to make that a possibility. Above are the income requirements for School Choice and I urge our families and parishioners to share this information with anyone who wants to attend our school. For any family that is above these income limits, The Angel Fund is a tuition assistance program supported by our Parish that is also available for families who may still need assistance in order to attend our school. Please call the school office if you have any questions about these available programs. Comments are closed.
