Students are going to be performing a play on Thursday, May 13th for a live audience! We are so excited to welcome our families into school to show off all of the students hard work. We hope you are able to join us! There will be an afternoon showing as well as a night showing so that we are able to accommodate everyone interested in attending!
Mac & Cheese Dinner To Go
We will be hosting a Lenten dinner to go this Friday, March 19th from 4-6pm. Dinner will include homemade mac & cheese, garden salad, and breadsticks. There will also be a family fun night package option that will include a game and 2 crafts. We will be accepting orders until Friday at 12pm. If orders are made on Friday, we can not be guarantee that Family Packs will still be available.
Piggly Wiggly Receipts
Time is running out to get those 1st quarter receipts turned in. Any purchases made at Frank's Piggly Wiggly in January, February, or March need to have the corresponding receipt turned in by March 31st. Thanks for your past, present and future contributions to this fundraiser. Last year you helped raise $1,400 and over the last five years we have raised $7,700. All those receipts add up, Thank You!
Seeking Room Parents
We need your help! After a brief hiatus, we are bringing back Room Parent Volunteers aka RPVs. RPVs provide an invaluable service to our school. They help coordinate class parties and events, as well as serve as a source of communication between the teacher, school and parents in your class. As a RPV, you will be invited to attend an orientation meeting where you will receive an overview of the Room Parent role. To learn more, contact Erin Seaverson: email@example.com.
St. Peter's Yard Signs
We ordered yard signs to help advertise around our community how much we all love St. Peter's School. Beginning tomorrow at pick up time, we will have signs available for parents to pick up to place in their yards. We are also looking for a few families to volunteer to give out signs after masses on the weekend. This would only involve you standing outside after mass for 5-10 minutes to offer signs to parishioners that are interested. Please email the school office if this is something you are willing to help with!
Reminder that we have spring break from April 2nd-April 9th. Students will be returning to school on April 12th.
All School Mass Update
Students now attend mass on Thursdays at 10:30am. Due to Covid we could no longer allow parents or guests at our school mass. However, the Arch has changed their guidelines and we are able to now invite parents back to mass with us! Beginning tomorrow, March 18th, parents are welcome to come join us in celebrating mass. We ask that you arrive a little early, sit with your child(ren), and wear a mask. This will allow us to maintain our social distancing and health guidelines we have in place in church.
Parent Advisory Committee
This is our primary school committee that meets once a month and discusses various topics that relate to the functioning of the school much as enrollment, fundraisers, marketing, policies, etc. The meeting occurs on the last Wednesday of each month at 7pm. If you are interested in being a part of this committee I encourage you to call or email the school office.
Student Drop Off
Beginning after Spring Break, we are once again welcoming families back into the building for morning drop off. I recognize that this is an important opportunity for parents to interact with other parents as well as teachers and that its a part of what makes us special! We are requiring parents who enter the school to wear a mask and be temperature checked at the door so we are able to maintain a safe environment for all students and staff. Although we encourage parents to take advantage of this wonderful time, we politely ask that all parents begin to exit the building once announcements begin at 7:50am. Please note that although this is an option, it is not necessary. You are welcome to continue dropping your child off at the door as you have been.
