I want to start out by wishing everyone a Happy Easter. I hope that all of you had a joyous and restful day with your families. Spring break allowed all of us to step back for a moment and take a break from our busy schedules and reset for another few weeks of learning from home. Thank you to all of our families, you all have shown such dedication and understanding during this trying time. Please remember that myself and the teachers are here to support your individual needs so reach out if you need anything moving forward.
I'm sure that one of the concerns that many of you have is grading. At this point the Archdiocese is coming up with a plan of what that is going to look like for the various levels and I will share those details with you hopefully in next weeks newsletter. Remember that part of your child's grade is attendance so it is very important that you are checking your child in each day. Many of our teachers are also using Zoom and students are expected to participate in these meeting in order to grade on participation. If your child is unable to attend on any given day please reach out to the teacher so that they can make accommodations.
Lastly, I know that the East Troy School District has decided to give the teachers a work day on Wednesday so there is no virtual learning on these days for the students. St. Peter's however is not going to be following this procedure. We are going to stick with the schedule of Monday-Friday as instructional time.
Thank you and I hope that you all have a great week!
