6/1/22 School News

Happy last week of school! I know that kids are excited for summer, but honestly I'm already excited for next year! We have so many plans for painting, moving classrooms, and updating throughout the summer that I cannot wait to show off the changes to everyone in August! I will be here for the Youth Ministry Week and I hope to see our students join in on the fun!  
 
Rock Garden Prayer Service & Blessing 
In honor of St. Peter's Parish celebrating its 150th anniversary, our school community created a rock garden as our gift to the parish. The rock garden is located on the side of the church near the school and is meant to represent the strong connection between the church and school. We hope that you will use this space as a place of prayer and reflection. Thank you to everyone who joined our prayer service last week! 
 
Last week Thursday our 4th/5th Graders visited Old World Wisconsin! The have been studying Wisconsin for the last few months and this was a great way for the students to experience some hands on learning!  

 School Supply Info
I know that many families begin to purchase supplies for back to school throughout the summer as they go on sale. I wanted to let you know that next year we will NOT be asking for Kleenex, paper towel, Ziplock bags, Clorox Wipes, or Dixie Cups. We will have school supply lists for next year posted by July 15th on our website and in the newsletter.

Rooted-Youth Ministry Week
St. Peter's School in partnership with the Human Concerns Committee will be hosting a youth ministry week from June 20-24th from 9-11am. Children aged 3 (potty trained)-10 are welcome to join us for this week of faith, learning, and fun! There is no cost for this event, but we do need parents to register by June 4th to reserve your child's spot. Sign up can be done at the back of church or by calling Sue Healey at 262.642.3677. 

  
22/23 School Enrollment Update!
We had a 1st grade student shadow last week and he was very excited about all the new friends he made and the fun day he had! 
 We are continuing to accept enrollments for the 22/23 school year! Families considering St. Peter's are always welcome to set up a tour or a day for their child to shadow. Call the school office to set up a time or for more information regarding enrollment call 262.642.5533. 
**Current families are also able to receive a $250 reduced tuition rate for the 22/23 school year for referring a new family that enrolls at St. Peter's for next year!**
