Lunch Balances
Some families still have a remaining negative lunch balance so we have mailed balance forms to those families. Please take care of that balance by making an online payment on Vanco or stopping into the school office between 8am-12pm Monday-Friday. Updating Classrooms We have been working hard over the first few weeks of summer to begin updating our themed classrooms. We have cleaned them out and Mr. Darel has given them a fresh coat of paint. We are in the process of creating a "wish list" of items that we would like for each classroom and we will be messaging out soon how you can help if you wish. Middle School Grades As we enter into the middle of summer we begin planning for teachers and grade levels for the upcoming year. We have been continuously assessing our enrollment and unfortunately our middle school grades 6-8th have a reduced enrollment moving into next year. At this time, we have reached out to the Archdiocese for guidance on next steps and I will continue to keep everyone updated. Angel Fund St. Peter's Parish members have generously donated to the Angel Fund, which is a fund set up to help families afford the cost of tuition should they find this a burden on their family. We have updated our Angel Fund requirements to focus less on financial standings. If you are interested in learning more about Angel Fund requirements, you can visit our website or reach out to the Parish/School office. Referral Incentive We have very exciting news regarding next school year! We are going to be implementing a referral program for our current St. Peter's families. If you refer a family to St. Peter's and they have a child who attends school here next year, your family will receive a tuition discount!! Our School Choice families can also participate and receive discounts on other school related fees! What a great reason to spread the word about how amazing St. Peter's School is! We are available to give tours or answer questions all summer so feel free to reach out! Calendar Attached is the tentative event calendar for the 2021-2022 school year. We have many events that we are already hard at work planning for. Our official school calendar has been approved and will be sent out next week. Lunch Balances
Lunch Statements went home yesterday in red folders. Please be sure that you take care of any negative balances before the last day of school. Any lunch balances remaining will be carried over to next year. Memory Books We used a different school picture company this year and yearbooks were much more expensive then they had been in the past and therefore we decided to not purchase them. Instead we created memory books for all students at no cost to families. Students will be signing these tomorrow and bringing them home to share with their families. Awards Ceremony On Thursday June 3rd at 2pm we are going to be hosting an Awards Ceremony for our students. We will be honoring the students hard work and participation in various events throughout the school year. At this time we will also be celebrating our 8th graders and presenting them with gifts from the staff. This event is open for families to attend. 8th Grade Graduation Mass Our 8th grade Graduation Mass will be on Friday June 4th at 10:30am. Students in grades 5-7 will also be participating in choir for this Mass, so we ask that they do not wear shorts tomorrow. They can bring shorts to change into after Mass. 8th graders are welcome to leave with their families following Mass. Report cards and all supplies will be sent home with 8th graders tomorrow. Congrats to our Grads! Field Day On Monday June 7th we will be participating in our annual Field Day. This is a day filled with fun and games that many students look forward to all year! We will be outside for the majority of the day, so we ask that you apply sunscreen to your child before bringing them to school and also send them with a water bottle. We thought it would be fun for the students to wear their Summer Camp shirts on this day as well. Many of the games and activities for the day involve supplies that we already have on hand. However, some of the students have requested that we have a water balloon fight in the afternoon. So I thought I would reach out and see if any families would be willing to donate a few packages of "Bunch-o-Balloons" for us to use for this event. A few parents have reached out about attending field day and the more hands the better. We can always use help running the different stations, so please reach out if you are interested in helping! Thank you and I am looking forward to this day filled with activities and fun! Kindergarten Graduation On Tuesday, June 8th at 9am we will be having a small ceremony celebrating our Kindergarteners! Students are welcome to "dress their best" for this event. Families are encouraged to attend and students are welcome to leave following the celebration.
