COOKIES FOR A CAUSE Below I have attached a flyer with information about a cookie fundraiser being sponsored by St. James Catholic Church in Mukwonago to support the Waukesha Community Fund as well as the Jackson Sparks family. Many families were affected by this awful tragedy and I believe especially at this time of year as Catholics we need to be finding small ways to give back to those who need us most. This is a very worthy family and cause and we hope that you are able to show them support. Cookie Fundaraiser Spring Registration is Open for SC43 East Troy Soccer!Players who are new to SC43 East Troy Soccer can register for a "half season" which is spring 2022. Half seasons are available for our In House and Traveling Recreation teams. If your player registered with SC43 for the fall 2021 session, you are all set and already registered for spring. I know that school registration won't be starting until February, but I wanted to take a moment to spread some Christmas joy about St. Peter's School. For many of our parents, parishioners, and community members the rumors of St. Peter's School potentially closing has been weighing heavy on everyone's hearts and minds. I am here today to tell you that St. Peter's School has been a pillar of Catholic education in East Troy for many years and will continue to be in the future. With the help and support of everyone in the St. Peter's family, we are looking forward to the future and continuing our mission. We are excited to share with you the enrollment incentives that will begin on February 1st. We are hoping that over the holidays you will take some time to spread the news of these wonderful incentives to your friends and family. Please be aware that any family who is potentially interested in attending St. Peter's School next year are welcome to schedule a tour at their convenience as well as schedule a day for their child to shadow another student in their grade. We have every intention of extending to include 6th grade next year so we hope that you will help us make this a possibility. Thank you all for your continued support of St. Peter's School. Referral Incentives Any of our current families who refer a new family that attends school here next year will receive a $250 tuition incentive. Choice families are also eligible to receive a $250 Lunch credit for the referral of a new family. Happy Holidays to all of our school families! I hope that you all enjoyed your Thanksgiving break and are looking forward to Christmas! I know that this is a very busy time of the year for everyone. Please know that we understand and will do our best to help make the school aspect as least stressful as possible. Many of our events are optional, so please do not feel obligated. We appreciate all you are able to do and give at this time of year. I will do my best to remain in constant communication with you so that you feel prepared and involved with what is happening at school. You are always welcome to email me or call the school office if you have any questions. Each St. Peter's family holds a special place in our hearts and minds and during this time of reflection I thank you all for entrusting us with your children and allowing us to be a part of your family. God Bless.
Report Cards Report cards for Grades 1-5 were sent home today in red folders. They are in a sealed envelope to ensure that this information is kept private. We did have a small issue with student attendance on the report cards. We are working with PowerSchool to resolve the issue so that it appears accurate on the next report cards. Should you need a copy of your child's attendance record or have any concerns, please contact the school office. I also included a scoring guide to help explain our standards based grading scale. Breakfast With Santa St. Peter's School is hosting a breakfast with Santa and Mrs. Clause event on Sunday, December 12th from 9am-12pm.
