THINK AHEAD TO NEXT SCHOOL YEAR!
All parents, grandparents, volunteers and employees of St. Peter’s parish MUST be safeguarded trained, an initiative by the Archdiocese of Milwaukee to keep our children safe. If you plan in anyway to be involved in or around children in the school, CCD program and any activities involving children this class MUST be taken before you attend. For the month of June and July because of the COVID virus, the Archdiocese is holding on-line training. You must pre-register for the class just as you would if you would have to attend in person. They will be taking attendance periodically throughout the class. Please contact the parish office or the Religious Education department 642-7225, ext. 5 and we will send you a packet of information to assist you in this most important training, to safeguard our children. At back to school night everyone was given a packet that explained the expectations of becoming a volunteer/chaperone. The Archdiocese policy is that in order to participate in these activities you must first take a safeguarding class. St. Peter's is going to be hosting a class on Thursday, October 24th at 6pm in the school cafe. Please follow the instructions below to sign up for the class.
Sign up for a CMG Connect Account by clicking on this link Fill in the information for creating a new account on the right side of the screen Once signed in your will see step #1 and you will need to click on it to view in-person training sessions. Our class will be listed and you can click the link to register. Thank you so much for taking the time to attend this class. It's very important that we have as many families as possible sign up so that you are able to chaperone in the future. If you are unsure if you have taken this class already you are welcome to call the school or parish office. |
