The East Troy School District released an update this evening regarding school closures in East Troy. As of this afternoon, the CDC issued a new, updated guidance regarding the virus. The new guidance recommends that organizers (whether groups or individuals) cancel or postpone in-person events that consist of 50 people or more throughout the United States. As a result, the school board held another emergency meeting this evening and decided to close all schools in the district effective tomorrow. Health and safety for our students and families is first and foremost.
St. Peter's will follow this guideline and we will be open Monday from noon to 3pm for all parents to pick up their children's educational materials and personal belongings. Staff will be preparing materials from 9 AM until noon. If you are unable to pick up the materials tomorrow, this will not adversely affect your child's grades. We will make every effort to coordinate with you so that your child will be able to move forward with their education this month. Thank you for your patience during this time. Please call the office tomorrow morning if you have any questions or need to make arrangements for a later pick up time. Our school office number is 642-5533 Comments are closed.
