Farewell Reception for Suzanne
As Father Mark announced last week, Suzanne Kasper will be leaving her position of DRE/ Pastoral Associate of our parish at the end of June. She has decided to dedicate herself fulltime to leading Gerard’s Embrace. The Parish will be having a farewell reception for Suzanne after the Masses on Sunday, June 13 (from 9:00 am to 11:30 am). Please stop by to thank her for her many years of service and to wish her well in her future.
Did you know?
That medical HIPPA laws prevent hospitals from calling the patient’s priests?
Years ago, the hospital would call your parish to let them know that you were hospitalized. Not any longer. If you have a loved one hospitalized and they need prayers or the Sacrament of the Sick, please call the Parish Office to let Father Mark know.
Also, if you have an upcoming surgery and would like to receive the Sacrament of the Sick beforehand, let Father Mark know. The Sacrament is not just when death may be imminent. It is for all who would like prayers for their or their loved one’s healing.
St. Peter's School News
We still have a few yard signs available in the back of the church for anyone interested in placing them in your yard and promoting St. Peter's school. Thank you!
On Monday June 7th we will have our annual Field Day. We are planning on having a balloon fight after lunch and are asking for any donations of "Bunch-o-Balloons" for the event. Thank you and look for pictures of the event on our Facebook page!
