We are looking for a few more people to be in prayer in front of our Lord during Eucharistic Adoration on Tuesdays. The hours we really need help with are 1:00pm and 3:00pm, but we welcome everyone to come and pray during the hours of exposition from 9 to 5 pm and then maybe stay for “Our Mother of Perpetual Help” devotions beginning at 5pm. Thank you to all of you that have come forward to be on our substitute list. If you are interested in being assigned an hour of Adoration on Tuesday, or if you would like to be on the sub list, please call us at 262-642-7225 ext. 5 Thank you & God be with you! Suzanne Kasper
The annual parish meeting will be Sunday, October 25 following the 10:00 am Mass. It will be held in the church. We look forward to seeing you.
Life’s Connections has seen a 30% increase in families seeking medical services, education, mentoring, and basic supplies. They assist around 1700 families each year right here in our local communities, but to keep up with demand, your help is greatly appreciated. At the end of October, St. Peter’s will be hosting a diaper drive. All sizes are appreciated. Please look for collection baskets in the back of church and near the side entrances until Thanksgiving. Monetary donations or gift cards are also appreciated and can be dropped off at the parish or school offices. Other items are needed as well, including: diaper bags, car seats, bouncy seats, and avent baby bottles, to name a few. At this time, only new items can be accepted. Thank you for your continued support in blessing babies, children, and families in our community.
Will begin the week of October 12th, 2020. If you have any decorations on your loved one’s resting place that you would like to save for next spring, please remove it and take it home prior to October 11th. Please know that we try to leave any Religious items such as Angels and crosses, along with American Flags and any “Fall like” décor as long as it is in good shape and wired to the monument or a stake so that it’s not falling over. Any questions please call Patrick at 262- 745-0119. God Be with you!
We will be holding our Knight’s of Columbus memorial Mass on November 17th at 7pm at the church. There will be no reception afterwards. All are welcome even if not member or relative of past member.
We discuss the upcoming Sunday readings in a friendly small group format. We meet every Friday from 8:45 to 10 :30 in Room 8 at St James, Mukwonago. We meet in a large room to allow for social distancing and we wear masks. We also have coffee! If you've always wanted to learn more about scriptures you hear every week in Mass, we would love to have you join us. If you have a bible bring it with you, if you don't, we will have one for you. Even if you feel a bit unfamiliar with the Bible, all the more reason to come! For more information, call Don at 708 557 2205 or just show up, which, of course, is the first step.
The 2 different raffle tickets are for a Queen Sized Quilt provided by the St. Peter's Quilters, and a raffle for first prize of $1,000 Weber grill and separate cash prizes of $300 and $200. Drawings for the raffles will be held on November 1.
Thank you to all those that helped with the soup and pie sale on Sunday, October 4th! Whether you help in the kitchen, made pies, gave a donation, came through the drive through, sold tickets, donated supplies, gave ideas….we could not have done this without you! We are still selling quilt raffle tickets and tickets for a chance to win the $1000 grill donated by Martin’s Hardware and Rental Store with second prize of $300 and third prize of $200 until Halloween. The drawing will take place after the 10:00 November 1st or All Saints Day. Please be sure to turn in your tickets stubs by then. Our goal to raise $15,000 to help with operating events for our school and parish is in effect until the raffle. Thank you for your support. Thanks in advance for your willingness to help us raise needed funds for our Church Community and fulfil our mission of helping others in their spiritual journey.
