Life’s Connection has seen a 30% increase in families seeking medical services, education, mentoring, and basic supplies. They assist around 1700 families each year right here in our local communities, but to keep up with demand, your help is greatly appreciated. To assist in helping these families, St. Peter’s is hosting a diaper drive. All sizes are appreciated. Please look for collection baskets in the back of church and near the side entrances until mid-December. Monetary donations* or gift cards are also appreciated and can be dropped off at the parish or school offices. Other items that families coud use are: diaper bags, car seats, bouncy seats, baby bottles, baby wipes, baby shampoo, and clothing of all sizes. At this time, only new items can be accepted. Thank you for your continued support in blessing babies, children, and families in our community. *Online donations can be made directly to Life’s Connection at https://www.lcmission.com/donate.html
Thank you to the 41 donors at the Blood Drive Saturday. A great turn out! Thanks also go to Mike and Sue Bong and Mark Bong who helped set up and take down. Next blood drive is Sept. 26 at 8:00 am to 1:00 pm at St. Paul’s Church.
Thank you! Have you been wondering how all those folks we worship with are doing - and hoping all those who are in need know where to get assistance? Volunteers from St. Peters are reaching out to all parishioners by phone to check on how you are doing during these trying times. We are using your contact information from the latest church directory (Fall, 2019). If you need help or someone to talk to, please call the parish office at 642-7225 extension 3. The office staff are working remotely and will be checking voice mails daily. When we return your call, we’ll have all sorts of information available to assist you. May God bless you and keep you safe.
277 pounds and $25 in checks was collected. Thanks so much for continuing to help us feed the hungry in the East Troy community. We so appreciate your support.
