The annual parish meeting will be Sunday, October 25 following the 10:00 am Mass. It will be held in the church. We look forward to seeing you.
St. Peter's parish will be participating the Disciple Maker Index Survey about parish discipleship conducted by the Catholic Leadership Institute! We need your help.
Please help us by participating in a 10-15 minute survey online. The survey can be accessed at www.disciplemakerindex.com from February 23 to March 23 and will ask you to reflect on your own spiritual growth and enable you to provide feedback on our parish’s efforts to help you grow. All responses will be confidential and the parish will only receive information about the community as whole. We are trying to get the highest response rate possible. This information will be invaluable to Fr. Mark and our various ministries as we plan for the future and strive to be the best disciples we can be. We will receive the results this spring/summer at which time we will share what we have learned with the entire parish. If you don’t use the computer - there will be opportunities to complete the survey after daily and Sunday Mass and you can obtain a paper copy by contacting our parish office at 262-642-7225. Thank you for helping with this important project! December 21, 1927 – February 22, 2016
Fr. John came to St. Peter’s as pastor in 1986 and retired in 1995. He stayed with us throughout his retirement until his passing in 2016. Let us remember some of Fr. John’s inspiring messages (taken from his book of homilies). “In this community of ours, in the whole community of our church, we are the “living stones” of this house of faith, graced to build up the body of Christ. Ours is the dignity of being sisters and brothers of Jesus, daughters and sons of God.” We are seeking a part-time temporary, possibly long term person with an accounting/bookkeeping background, knowledge of Quickbooks helpful. Please call the Parish Office at 262-642-7225, ext. 3 for more information or to apply.
Want a part-time job? 3—4 hours on Monday and Wednesday evenings until April 22. Have the summer off. Please contact Suzanne or Mary Ann in the Religious Education office at 262-642-7225, ext. 5 for more information.
We still need volunteers who may be unable to commit to teaching each week, but who would like to substitute occasionally. It is a wonderful way to do as the Bible asks “to go out and spread the gospel”. You do not need a teaching degree just a desire to share your faith.
We are also in need of a volunteer office aide on Mondays (5:45 to 6:45 pm) and/or Wednesdays (6:30—8:00 pm). We cannot pay you but we can take some monies off your CCD fees. Need to drop off something and we are closed? Don’t forget our small item secure drop box right outside the parish office door.
