Helping Hands
We help people in need who live within the East Troy Community School District with financial assistance to help pay for rent, power bills, water bills, food, gas, clothing, emergency shelter and other items. Our client callers access the Helping Hands voice mail (menu item on rectory number) daily to pick up calls from clients, do intake and determine if we can help them. We also provide resources for them to call in addition to what help we can give them. If clients call from outside our boundaries we also try to direct them to resources in their communities.
Funds are raised through the Memorial Day rummage sale and from the candle box in the back of church. Additionally, donations can be placed in the church collection basket in a separate envelope addressed to Helping Hands.
